Celebrate With Tresors De Luxe~

Hello and welcome to my last Tresors De Luxe Design Team project for the month of April. I combined some of the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers and embellishments with some of those gorgeous Tresors, laces, flower and heart Doily to create a hanging pocket banner.

I started with layers of paper then added on some Tresors:

Embroidered Basket Weave Lace Trim LA-105

Then added some Tresors:
to the bottom, then topped it with a Tresors:

some fussy cut foliage and a fussy cut bird.

At the top of the banner I added a Tresors:

Rustic Ivory Shabby Chic Flower Embellishment FL-029

topped it with a Tresors:

White Fabric Shabby Chic Roses PF-016

And a sweet little rose stamp sticker.

I then took another G-45 Sticker, Stickled it up and put it into a Prima Resin Frame, and layered the frame onto a Tresors:

Heart Applique in Ivory AP-008

added a twine bow and topped it with another Tresors fabric rose.

The Tiny Treasures Shabby Pink Roses Butterflies are from my Reneabouquets Etsy Shop.

On the back side I added some more of the Tresors Lattice Trim, some little G-45 pockets filled with little tags, and more Tresors Flowers.

At the bottom I added some Tresors:
and also used the same trim with some tulle to create the hanger for my banner.

At the top I added a Tresors:

Pearl Centered White Organza Flowers FL-015

And here are all the little tags that were tucked into the pockets.

And there you have it!! A beautiful banner with lots of tags to use on projects, gifts or just to journal and add small photos onto.  If you decide to pick up some of those Tresors Touches for your own projects, don't forget to enter code: Renea10 at Etsy checkout to receive 10% off your total Tresors order. Doing What I Love With Tresors De Luxe~

Welcome!! Today, I have a layout that I created as a Design Team member for Tresors De Luxe. I paired the Scraps Of Elegance April Kit~Flutter with some of those amazing Tresors laces, flowers, and embellishment to create this piece. The photo is a backstage, Russian Ballet photo taken by photographer, Nikoley Krusser. It was originally a B & W photo but I colorized the dress in Photoshop to fit with my color scheme.

I started with lots of paper layers, distressed and inked the edges, then did some misting and stamping. I then ran some Tresors:
up the side and got to adding in the details.

I love lots of florals, so I added a large Tresors

Pink Shabby Chic Lace Flower FL-157
lots of stash flowers and foliage,

some Tresors:

White Flower and Pearl Spray PF-040

a Tresors:

Large Rhinestone Brooch ~ RH-019

And a Prima Resin Ballerina that I ink detailed.

At the top left hand corner, I misted and added a Tresors

Heart Applique in White AP-007

Then topped it with a Tresors:

Pack of 24 Dusty Rose Fabric Shabby Chic Roses PF-018

and the sentiment "Doing What I Love"

I then threaded some leftover Tresors Lace onto stick pins and added them in, and then finished off the layout with a set of my Shabby Pink Roses Glitter Glass Butterflies from my Reneabouquets Etsy Shop.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to drop by and peek at my Tresors project! If you would like to add some of those Tresors products to your project, don't forget to enter code Renea10 at Etsy Checkout to receive 10% off your total purchase price! Hugs ~Renea

Documented With The Scraps Of Darkness April Kit~His & Hers

Scraps Of Darkness Reveal It's April Kit~His & Hers

A match made in Heaven... Our April kit features two of the most gorgeous collections out there right now: Prima's Cartographer and Stationer's Desk! We're calling this kit "His & Hers", the perfect marriage of elegant masculine and femine collections. The possiblities of what you can do with this kit are endless. We are honored to bring you this vintage inspired kit, and truly hope you will enjoy creating with it!

Here is the wonderful and inspiring sketch by our very own Sue Pup:

And the following is my take on the sketch that features a photo of my sweet Granny when whe was young. My cousin, Becky had put me together a disc with lots of my Granny and Grandpa's photos on it after they passed away a few years back and I just love going through them every once in a while. It's so funny how someone you knew your whole life, can still be a mystery to you. I don't know who the person is in the photo with her, but I just love the moody feel to it and the overexposure just adds to the mystery.

I started with lots of layers, punching and paper curling one of the corners, then stenciling with a Prima Damask Stencil and modeling paste.

Under the photo I layered Doilies, distressed paper and some fussy cut pieces that I cut from the gorgeous Prima packaging that held the kit flowers.

I pleated one of the cut off tabs of the paper and arranged it so that the "Documented" showed, then layered in some stash flowers and a flower from the Floral Add On, and some kite string done into a double bow.

I added a stash Tim Holtz book plate and then added in stash flowers and Floral Add On Flowers on top of it. The Precious Keepsakes Butterflies are from my Reneabouquets Etsy Shop, and the paper clip piece is from the kit.

At the top of the page I did a tear down  accented with kit, stash and more kite string, as well as a stenciled damask  accent.

Here you can see where I tucked a pleated Doily under the paper curling to tie in with the ones under the photo and for yummy dimension.

This kit really is a stunner!! I am so fortunate to get to work for Scraps Of Darkness and Scraps Of Elegance!! They truly are the most wonderfully, unique kits around , and I just love the versatility to create just about anything I am in the mood for.

I hope you get to create something special for yourself this weekend, and to get to spend some time making precious memories with the ones you love. Hugs ~Renea

And last, but not least, I have an ATC that I created for my March-April SOD/SOE ATC swap partner Marci Bensing.

Inkido April Challenge~Family Roots & Traditions Mood Board

Hello everyone! TGIF and I am so ready for the weekend!!
For April, Inkido has a Mood Board Challenge up and running, and the following is the inspiration:

and the theme is Family Roots & Traditions.

I decided to do a mini album surrounding a new baby. I thought that a baby album is always the perfect way to record traditions and family roots, and I was inspired by so many of the colors you see in the photo throughout the album. So I grabbed lots of those Inkido and PaperScandanavia products and started creating!

On the cover I used a sweet image that I cut from the Beautiful Memories Pink Babies Paper and then framed it in a chipboard frame. I fussy cut some baby booties from the same paper and added some of the Inkido Pink Crystals.

The flowers are all Inkido.
The Oh So Pinkalicious Butterflies are from my Reneabouquets Etsy Shop.

Her you can see a close up. The album cover and back are acrylic and I painted them with gesso, then edged them in hand tinted German Glitter Glass.

Here you can see how dimensional my album is~filled to the brim with all that Inkido/PaperScandanavian goodness.

The first page features a pocket made from Inkido paper, and has two little tags I made from the Pink Baby paper. The little corrugated heart is an Inkido piece that I turned into a tag topped with some more of the Pink Crystals.
The 2nd page is actually a sewn pocket with another Inkido Tag tucked inside, it has a Doily spot for a photo and another Inkido Mulberry Paper Flower.

The 3rd and 4th page features die cut photo spots made from the Beautiful Memories line.
The wing dangle is one that I hand crafted from paper clay.

The 4th page forms a pocket and has another Baby tag tucked in.

The 5th and 6th pages feature the back side of the Pink Babies paper and have a wonderful star print.
Some sweet Pink Baby Cut outs make photo spots, and the little corrugated star is an Inkido piece that I turned into a tag and topped with a little lamb image fussy cut from the Pink Baby paper.

The 7th page features some clip on pieces that can house small photos or journaling as well as a tuck in tag that tucks behind the paper. And the 8th page has another pocket with more little Pink Baby Tags.

Here you can see all the tuck in and clip pieces from those two pages.

And here is the back side view.

I hope you have enjoyed the details of my mini album. Mini Albums are wonderful ways to store details about your Family Traditions, as well as a FABulous place to share your Families Roots.
I hope you get a chance to come play along with the April Challenge, and look forward to seeing what you create!! Hugs ~Renea
